At The Office with Anja Rubik
Supermodel, activist and founder of SEXEDPL, Anja Rubik has partnered with Westwing for the latest edition of its homestory series. Opening the doors to the HQ of her foundation in Warsaw, Poland, she shares the vision behind a space designed for openness, dialogue, and empowerment.

Bringing Westwing’s Design Service to life, Anja set out to create a space that felt warm and homely, giving her team the freedom to exchange ideas openly and with ease. The office serves as a natural expression of the design-led approach at the heart of Westwing’s overall offering. Developed through close collaboration, the project reflects a belief that interiors should feel deeply personal - balancing aesthetics with the way people live, work and connect.
Guided by authenticity rather than trends, Anja's style is mirrored within each room. Blending timeless pieces, meaningful objects and personal touches that reflect her travels, experiences and evolving taste, Anja and Westwing created a space that feels both inspiring and distinctly true to SEXEDPL's ethos.

Soft furnishings were an essential incorporation into the space, truly evoking the "relaxed" working environment that Anja and the team value so highly for work and creativity. Core pieces like the Tayla Teddy Bouclé Ottoman anchor the communal spaces with a slouchy, yet considered feel, along with Westwing's much-loved statement rugs like the best-selling Kadey range.
"It’s a very relaxed working environment. People often work from sofas, put their feet up, and use laptops comfortably."

The lounge area reflects the same qualities found within a home, intentionally designed with tactile, warm neutral tones and balanced with thoughtful injections of colour and natural greenery. Moving away from the traditional corporate office layout, the SEXEDPL HQ feels welcoming and lived-in, with small, yet striking pieces sprinkled throughout. The much-loved Lilo Bouclé Armchair, for example, is contrasted with glossy accent tables and sharp lighting, complimenting the more plush textures with polished finishes to create a considered sense of harmony.
"Living beautiful means to live in freedom, empathy, and courage - not perfection. Beauty is found in imperfections and in living your truth."
Red motifs are woven throughout the office, forming a key part of the overall design brief. As the signature colour of the SEXEDPL Foundation, red unifies the space and reinforces its identity, most prevalenty spotlighted in the Kartell lighting pieces such as the Teresa Dimmable Table Lamp & Geen-A Dimmable Floor Lamp. Other, smaller pops of colour can be found in the coffee table books and tableware sets, to create a cohesive and intentional narrative.
"The Foundation is associated with red - representing love and the heart. That’s why there are many elements throughout the space, along with playful and lively details."
